The Craigslist Criminal Tenant! - 04/20/09
A few months back, I decided to rent my San Jose place out on Craigslist. Everything
went well for a total of two weeks before my tenant was dragged away by four armed men!
I thought that since the men didn't have uniforms on, my missing tenant might be in a
hole somewhere, but it turns out that undercover cops were behind the abduction and
they had a pretty good reason!
Raymond is still in jail and we decided to pick up the police report just to find out
what my bad-guy Craigslist tenant was up to. To begin with, Ray was the mastermind of
an armed robbery of a video store. When the cops picked him up, they did a little search
which also turned up over 164 grams of cocaine, 54 grams of marijuana, a scale and
a sales sheet.
To say the least, Ray has a new landlord, the state of California!
