The Adventures of the Crime Busting Hiker! - 05/01/09
I'm always up for a good hike, but I have to admit that it's better to have a little more excitement
than a simple walk in the desert. I actually like to exercise my crime fighting, super-hero skills
when I head out.
This last week was perfect because about three hours into a walk in the desert, I managed to find
a brand-new Honda Pilot in the bottom of a small ravine. No body. No bag of cash. Just an oddly
placed car. I took a bunch of pictures and called the police when I got home. A few hours later, I
was 4-wheeling with the cops to help recover the car that had been stolen three weeks earlier.
You might think that a reward would be in order, but the super-hero creed doesn't allow me to gain
from my powers. My reward was a ride in the (front) seat of the police car!
