My plane was barely on the ground in Las Vegas and I was already on my way to the first tournament of the trip. I was off to pick up Damon for the daily at Planet Hollywood and even though I didn't win a hand, it was the beginning of several days of all out gambling! Along with our usual Hold Em games, we also played in a pot limit Omaha tournament (by mistake) and I played cash games in Hi/Low Eight, and a great game of Chinese at the Nugget. For the first few nights, play lasted until three in the morning, but we also managed some time to see Elton John at Caesar's. The big day for me was when I surprised my dad with his first World Series event. He didn't know he was playing until 20 minutes before the start and the great Johnny Chan presented him with the surprise seat ticket! Overall, it was a great trip and along with one tournament cash, I managed to win at about everything else I tried, which is a pretty rare experience in Vegas!
