Yet Another Chris Wins the LLWSOP! - 07/14/07
Chris Johnson brought his nuts to the LLWSOP again this month, but he didn't really need them. If Chris was
in the hand, there was no doubt that the deck would hit him in the face. Before long, he had a stack that made
people simply wonder who was going to land in second place. After a relatively quick July game, Amy Allen
landed in that second spot and we had back-to-back Chris wins.
The Las Vegas Buddha crew took a good shot at the money, but LA! was the highest finishing Buddha holder. She
finished on the bubble when her pocket queens were cracked by Chris' runner-runner straight. The rest of the
Buddhas were sent to the rail in various stages of defeat only to witness Chris' evil plan of world domination!
Well, maybe it wasn't such an evil plan, but there was plenty of domination at the final table. Revenge
will be ours though as the bounty will be on Chris next month.
In a rare display of healthy eating, we had fruit at the game this month thanks to the Duck of Death. Damon's losing
prop bet brought us the fruit mix this month as his luggage arrived a mere two bags behind Irish Steve's at the
baggage claim in San Jose. It might be a while before we have our own gambling show on television.
