Kevin Wu Come Back! - 7/14/12

Kevin Wu was not a happy poker player. As the clock wound down to the second break, he had only a few chips left in his stack and he would have to wait out the intermission before being eliminated. That's what everyone thought was going to happen, but something else went down at table number one and when the final table was seated, Kevin had a stack that would eventually lead to his second victory of the year!

The final table had quite a few familiar faces except for Laura Lou Phelan who managed her first cash with timely bets that were probably not influenced by the teachings of Fancy Dan Shahin. When the final table got down to six players, Jenny Glandt and Irish Steve fought for the bubble prize but after squeaking out guaranteed money, Irish chipped up to land in third place as Jim South's stack faltered. Head-to-head play lasted almost two complete rounds with first prize completely up for grabs, but Kevin Wu was able put Shuffleboy in second place and win the July title.

Players Note: For the August game, when we deal for the button, we will also be choosing our dealer for the first hour. At each break we will draw for a new dealer so be prepared for the random chance that you will spread some cards for one hour at most.
